50 years of success for Bussy

2017 marked an important milestone for Bussy: THE Milan-based company celebrated its first 50 years in business; half a century of successes that began with Luigi Vandone, a small artisan pastry chef, who decided to buy and develop the production of wafers in Milan for cake bakeries and gelateria. Thanks to his passion, courage, determination and love for the historic vocation of pastry baking, Luigi Vandone invented the wafer Cannolo for filling with cream and gelato; a symbol of the company in the world taht today is continued by his daughter, Vittoria.
The secret to its success is simple, just as the products it makes have always benne simple with the utmost attention to the quality of ingredients, and and the fruit of consolidated know how in fifty years of specialisation. The characteristics that distinguish a Bussy wafer are without doubt crunch, freshness, fragrance and originality.

To celebrate this milestone, Bussy drew on the past by reproposing the white, blue and red vintage tin which, for the occasion became the Bussy 50th limited edition tin, which will be given to everyone who ordered the “Cannolo1967” package, a two tin package of classic 19/5 Cannoli, with an extra tin free. The special Bussy 50th tin is available only at leading selected retailers while stocks last.

Sigep will also be the opportunity to celebrate the company’s birthday together. Come to the booth to toast with us the first #Bussy50!
